Species text
This is a very rare coastal fly. The only previous British records are from Blakeney Point (Norfolk) and Dawlish Warren (Devon) (D?Assis Fonseca 1968, Recorder species account). Gregor et al. (2002) state that it is reliably reported from the sea coasts of Great Britain, Germany, the Netherlands, France, Italy and Algeria. References
